Linking Values Weaving Culture

A Celebration of the start of London 2012 games time in the North West. Exhibited as part of Looping the Loop, Salford Quays, 2012.

. Laura worked with Pulling Together Asian Women's group who are based in Old Trafford, Manchester. Together they explored the values and culture of London 2012 through creating their own textiles circles to produce a large scale textiles sculpture. They explored friendship,respect, identity, self-esteem, personal & community development, and the marriage of art and sport.
